Food for thought

Black Beauty

They say that beauty's in the eye of the beholder
It seems that eye has been corrupted
Tainted by hatred
Hey, black child, what's that chip on your shoulder?

You, Black Beauty, with the dark chocolate skin
You, Black Beauty, with the big dark eyes

Beauty has no skin tone.
You, Black Beauty, with the tongue-twisting name
I pray, Black Beauty, that you feel no shame

Judged by Western standards
Unobtainable and candid
Never forget you were born of kings
Born from the soil that prosperity brings

You, Black Beauty, with the tight black curls
You, Black Beauty, with a grace synonymous with pearls
You, Black Beauty, are now called to duty
Stand tall and get off that big booty

No error, no doubt
Black Beauty, those full lips were never meant to pout

African beauty in all in essence. It needs no words.
